The biggest Corn Products Brasil manufacturing plant is also the second largest plant of Corn Products International. The plant has a total area of 570,000 square meters complete with modern glucose and maltose syrup refiners.

This unit produces various specialties, such as the processing of different varieties of corn, in addition to the transformation of manioc starch. Products for all over the country are sent out from this unit in addition to being the only supplier for the Country's Soutern region.

Among the products manufactured by this unit are high maltose syrup, glucose syrup, corn starch and adhesives. Its location assures the necessary logistic competitiveness to meet the demand from the country's Northern and Northeastern regions.

The new plant located at Alcantara-RJ added to the Corn Products Brasil portfolio, polyols like sorbitol and mannitol, broadely used in several industrial markets, enhancing its position as the only local polyols producer.

Dedicated to manioc processing, this plant's objective is to assure the supply and the quality of the starch used in the production of such specialties as modified starches, maltodextrins and dextrins, among others.
